My First Quilted Wall Hanging
7 CommentsAs promised, here is a photo of my latest creation, hand-stitched and made entirely of Guatemalan fabric:
The piece measures 18 by 24 inches. Each of the twelve squares is made of three different strips of fabric. I loved working with the fabric and trying out different patterns for the arrangement of the squares.
Such fun!

You should make a tallit, and/or kippah, too. Or do whatever you like, ’cause it’s great.

lovely, i wish i had the patience to sew. -
I am loving all the purpleness, it’s my favourite colour too. And the fabric in the backpack in the previous post is absolutely glorious.

I know, that backpack fabric knocks me out, too. I’ve saved every little scrap of that material I have. I can’t bear that any of it go to waste!
